Dr. Hui Pang received his B.Eng. degree and the M. Eng. degree from Hefei University of Technology in 2002 and 2005 respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from China Electric Power Research Institute (CEPRI) in 2010. Now he is deputy director of HVDC Transmission Technology Research Department of Global Energy Interconnection Research Institute (GEIRI). He was dedicated to study of the system design and simulation for VSC-HVDC transmission system and DC grid. He participated in the system study and equipment design of Nanhui, Xiamen, Yu’e VSC-HVDC transmission systems and Zhangbei DC grid.
